Through my community engagement and committee participation over the years, I have realized there’s a growing need to change our discussions from “exclusive” to “inclusive”. Affordability, education, opportunity, accessibility, and personal health represent specific challenges that often know no boundaries.
While applying a ‘healthy community approach’ to overcoming traditional issues surrounding the development and delivery of quality ‘municipal services’, I commit to continuing efforts in facing city-wide challenges such as ‘affordability’, ‘tax-base imbalance’, ‘a rising infrastructure deficit’, and ‘inadequate mobility options’. Through empowerment, engagement and effective representation, we can bring down barriers, celebrate our diversity, and maximize our social and economic potential . . . today and into the future.
Let’s work together to make Hamilton the best place in Canada to raise a child.
